ARS Argentina’s executive organized a seminar/tours, from Oct 3-10, 2009 in Buenos Aires. Canada participated with 94 members and friends.

ARS Canada held it’s annual Seminar in Kingston, Ontario at the Confederation Place hotel, Saturday April 18, 2009, where 130 ARS members and friends participated. Pariticipants were from Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, Ottawa, Vancouver, Laval and Montreal. Ungerouhie Varsenig Sarkissian, ARS Canada Regional Executive member, welcomed everyone in her opening speech and called ungerouhie Keghouhie Bastadjian to introduce our firspeaker. The first speaker, Mrs. Shoghig Kataroyan from Montreal delivered the first topic; “Your health and its medicine”. Ungerouhie Maral Hovsepian introduced our second speeker, Ungerouhie Armenouhie Gharakhanian from Mississauga. Her topic was “Financial and retirement planning”. Both speeches were very interesting and many questions were raised and answered. After lunch and during a workshop, participants were divided into 10 groups. It is commendable that Montreal & Toronto chapters had invited 7 youths to attend the seminar. All the participants were very pleased with the seminar.

A.R.S. MEMORIAL DAY - 2009
The church service for ARS ungerouhies and donators, who passed away, took place on Sunday February 22nd at Sourp Hagop Armenian Church in Montreal. Ungerouhi Maro Froundjian, ARS Central Committee vice-chairperson, ungerouhi Arminee Karabetian, ARS Canada Regional Executive chairperson and many ungerouhies attended the service.

Ungerouhi Yeran Bankian and Elize Boghosian carried the flowers. After the service, coffee and pastry were served at Aharonian Hall. ARS S0SSE chapter's Executive committee chairperson ungerouhi Flora Guiragossian with few ungerouhies took the flowers to ungerouhi Rina Yemenejian's coffin at Mont Royal Cemetery.
