Ինչպէս ամէն տարի այս տարի եւս ՀՕՄ-ի Արազ Շաբաթօրեայ Վարժարանի Ամավերջի Հանդէսը տեղի ունացաւ Յունիս 19, 2011 Հայ Կեդրոնի Լազարեան սրահին մէջ, կ.ե. ժամը 1-ին ներկայութեամբ ՀՕՄ-ի ժրաջան անդամներու, ծնողքներու ինչպէս նաեւ մեծ Հայրերու եւ մեծ մայրերու, 20 աշխատասէր աշակերտներու կամաւոր դասատուներու եւ փոխ դասատուներու: Տիկիններ Սիլվա Աբգարեան, Ովսաննա Գատեան, Արշօ Զարիֆեան, Սիլվա Ղազարեան, Անի Պետրոսեան, Սիլվա Սարաֆեան (3 ժամ քշելով ԱՄՆ-էն), Մարալ Քիւլլահեան. Ինչպէս նաեւ Հայր Յուսիկ Մարտիրոսեան: |

Հանդէսի ընդացքին Վանգուվըրի գաղութի երեխաները ցոյց տուին հազուագիւտ տաղանդ եւ ազգասիրութեան ցուցաբերում: Հայ մշակոյթի զանազան մարզերը օգտագործելով, անոնք ցոյց տուին յատուկ ձիրք խմբային եւ անհատական աշխատանքներ յաջողցնելով: Յայտագիրը ճոխ էր արտասանութիւններով, ազգային եւ մանկական երգերով, կենդանի պատկերով, հեզաշնորհ չորս պարերով, հաճելի թատրոններով եւ Power Point-ի ներկայացումով տարուայ ընթացքին դպրոցի զանազան ձեռնարկներու 120 նկարներով:
Գերաշնորհ Հայր Յուսիկ Մարտիրոսեան իր խօսքին մէջ շեշտեց Հայ դպրոցի անհրաժեշտութեան եւ նամանաւանդ ծնողքներուն յարատեւ ճկունութեան Հայ լեզուի եւ մշակոյթի պահպանումին մէջ:

I can not begin to thank the organizers, and the children who attended, looking at pictures
it becomes obvious that everyone was having fun, the smiles never left the faces of the 26 youngsters
even though sometimes they would be put through such a workout that the ride home to the north shore would be a quiet one, most of them napped.

The teacher made all the difference, a CANADIAN BORN Lori Najarian is dynamite, her communication skills in Armenian and in English are excellent her enthusiasm and vigor for the dance form are infectious, this girl singlehandedly commandeered a relatively large group of youngsters in all ages from 4 to 17, and in only 2 weeks put on a show that was nothing short of remarkable.
But you all had to be there to get the full effect of the finale when our kids performed to the
music of GARMIR GABOUYD TSIRANAGOUYN and individually proclaimed that they love their homeland. |

Over 40 ARSers and supporters attended the launch of Rebecca Moradoghli's book.
Organised by ARS VANCOUVER ARAZ CHAPTER.
The event was a astounding success, the evening started with the showing of the ARS short film titled "THESE ARE THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF HAPPINESS" featuring the ARS SOSE kindergartens in Garabagh and many other functions of ARS in Armenia and the World the short film left everyone emotionally uplifted and inspired and most importantly connected us to our larger family of HOM.

The author of the book spoke to us about SHERO methadology and how it helps us in achieving our goals in life by being true to ourselves.
SHERO (Spirituality, Humanity Enlightenment, Responsibility and Opportunity) - This is the title of a new book written by Rebecca Moradoghli, a young Armenian woman from Vancouver. Rebecca's book is captivating: Where did our beliefs come from? Do they still serve us? The SHERO leadership methodology offers an alternative for old and worn out beliefs that may be holding us back. Her book will help us move forward in a way that will not only benefit us but also those around us. It will change the way we do things today and more importantly TOMORROW.
Her book seems to transcend generations; the guests raging in ages 23 to 82 found the book equally captivating, they called the author carragus, insightful, intelligent, deep, and even compared her to seasoned writers like MAYA ANGELU. Overall as we all predicted when bunch of intelligent, beautiful and outspoken women get together the outcome is usually something incredible and that's what we had on the evening of APR 10.

We would like to thank the teachers, the parents and everyone else who made this performance possible. After all, what is our glorius past worth if we do not have a bright future.
